Conor Taylor
Co-founder, Low Carbon Industrial
Conor Taylor is Co-founder and Director of Low Carbon Industrial (LCI), a designer and manufacturer of architectural materials. LCI's goal is to improve existing manufacturing capacity with recycled and organic inputs, working with the industry as it is rather than waiting for it to change.
He started the company after developing Foresso, the world's first timber terrazzo, as a way to build a circular economy for the UK's small woodworking businesses. That single material has since grown into a portfolio made alongside like-minded partners, each built from recycled or organic inputs.
Today those materials appear in projects all over the world, from single apartments to large commercial fit-outs, giving specifiers a low-carbon choice without asking them to compromise on how a surface looks or performs.
