Elizabeth Lee
CEO, Carbon Cell
Elizabeth Lee is the CEO and Co-Founder of Carbon Cell Ltd., a clean-technology startup producing carbon-negative, plastic-free foam from biochar and natural polymers. She is a design engineer and strategist with a passion for sustainability and over 14 years of professional experience understanding human behaviour and how companies bring new products to market.
She holds an MA/MSc in Innovation Design Engineering from Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art, and a BA from Columbia University.
Elizabeth has received awards and recognition for her work, including from Tech Nation, Cleantech Group, Dezeen, Frame Magazine, the Design Education Trust and Prototypes for Humanity. Her work has been exhibited at Salone del Mobile, Dutch Design Week and London Design Festival.
She is also a Visiting Tutor at the Dyson School of Design Engineering, Imperial College London, where she supports MEng coursework.
